Maddie’s Dance Studio is thrilled to announce our Open Call Auditions for the upcoming season! We are looking for passionate, dedicated dancers to join our Pre-Company and Performing Company.

Our auditions are open to dancers of all levels and experience. We can't wait to see you at the studio!

Audition Details

Date: Saturday, June 13th
Time: Pre-Company 9:30-11:30 & Performing Company 12:00-2:00
Location: Maddie's Dance Studio (49 Brown House Rd, Stamford CT, 06902)
What to Expect: The audition will include a warmup and stretch, center technique, across-the-floor combinations, and learning choreography.

Who Can Audition?

Pre-Company: Ages 9-12
Performing Company: Ages 13-18
Note: Dancers must be within the age range by September. If your dancer has a late birthday and you would like to confirm eligibility, please email us.

Company Requirements & Benefits
If accepted, dancers are required to enroll in Jazz, Modern & Lyrical, Ballet, and their specific Company Class. Elective classes available are hip hop and tap.

Pre-Company Benefits:

Discounted for 4 required classes and elective classes (Weekly class commitment is Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays)
5–7 costumes included ($50+ value each)
Pre-Company jacket
Extra performance opportunities

Performing Company Benefits:

Discounted for 4 required classes and elective classes (Weekly class commitment is Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays)
5–7 costumes included ($50+ value each)
Performing Company jacket
Extra performance opportunities
Participation in at least 3 competitions and all fees covered
Lead character roles in spring recital

Important Dates

Monday, June 15th: Invitations will be sent via email following our auditions on 6/15.
Wednesday, July 1st: Deadline to accept invitations.
Note: Specific pricing structure will be sent out with the invitations. Class schedule is already posted on our website under the "Season 3 registration" tab.

How to Register for Auditions
Auditions are FREE, but spots are limited! To secure your spot, please create a Parent Portal and register your dancer for the "Open Call Audition" event. The season is listed as "Season 3 Pre/Performing Company Open Auditions".
